THE PROGRAM
PART OF THE LJAL FAMILY
Blue Jays Cheer is one of four Livonia units in the Livonia Junior Athletic League, with the Falcons, Orioles and Eagles. Your unit is based on where you live. Check the boundaries on the LJAL website.
Cheerleaders support football from the sideline and don't compete during the regular season. The season ends with Cheerfest, optional but highly encouraged. All of our coaches are volunteers, and we thank them for their time.
Cheerleader event shirts for Family Day and Pink Out are included in the Cheer Pack.
PRACTICE AT HOME!
Cheerleaders are learning sideline cheers, game day prep, halftime routines, and Cheerfest pom and cheer routines. Practicing at home means they arrive ready to build on the last practice instead of relearning it.
Keep stretching at home too. Our junior coaches are only with us a few days a week, and we want that time for Cheerfest.
