PARENT RESOURCES
EVERYTHING FOR THIS SEASON
Volunteering, physicals, Family Day, safety and every form in one place.
REQUIRED FOR EVERY FAMILY
FOUR VOLUNTEER SPOTS
We are completely volunteer run and couldn't do it without our Blue Jay family. Every family fills 4 volunteer spots during the football season so each game runs smoothly. Sign-ups open a few games at a time.
TRAINER NEEDED AT HOME GAMES
Are you a qualified nurse or EMT, or know someone who is? We need a game-day trainer for home games.
No home games this week
Both teams play away 10/31
Email LivoniaBlueJays@LJAL.com or see any director.

THINK BEFORE YOU POST
LJAL is cracking down on social media posts and comments. Once something is posted, it's out there forever, even if you delete it.
When SMYFA posts weekly scores, please don't argue in the comments. Directors make sure scores are correct and request fixes when needed.
SAFETY & SPORTSMANSHIP
WHEN IN DOUBT, SIT THEM OUT
Concussion awareness is a team effort. Some symptoms don't appear until after practice, when your athlete is home. We encourage every parent to take the free U of M NeuroSport concussion training.
MICHIGAN SPORT CONCUSSION LAW (2013)
1
All coaches, staff and volunteers complete concussion awareness training.
2
Athletes and parents receive signs-and-symptoms information and sign that they received it.
3
An athlete suspected of a concussion is removed from play and needs written clearance from a health professional to return.
